8th Annual Child Rights Academic Network Symposium: January 27-28, 2017
Landon Pearson and Virginia Caputo host the 8th annual Child Rights Academic Network (CRAN) Symposium on January 27-28, 2017. Sixty-five childhood studies and children's rights scholars from across Canada and internationally will meet at Carleton with the support of the Muttart Foundation to discuss this year's theme: children's rights and climate change. The agenda for the CRAN meeting is set by young people who attend the youth-led and youth-driven workshops hosted by the Landon Pearson Centre each year called Shaking the Movers. In 2016, Shaking the Movers young participants met in 4 regions of the country to share their thoughts and perspectives on children's rights and climate change.
